Exporting FLVs

Step 1. First, remove any scripts that would cause the realtime export to run in an endless loop. Loaders are often trouble, so I put mine in a separate Scene:

Step 2. I delete the Scene before exporting to Quicktime:

Step 7. Just drag and drop the Quicktime into the Flash Video Encoder; the default settings are usually what you want:

Step 8. Now create a new Flash document that matches the dimensions of your new FLV:

Step 11. Ignore the instructions, and type in the FLV file name without a path. This will let you move the player and FLV file together later on, without re-authoring the SWF.

Step 12. Be sure to save the FLA project file in the same directory as your FLV before publishing:
