{"id":762,"date":"2013-06-26T09:46:48","date_gmt":"2013-06-26T17:46:48","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/fox-gieg.com\/tutorials\/?p=762"},"modified":"2020-06-25T09:34:03","modified_gmt":"2020-06-25T17:34:03","slug":"image-sequence-to-movie","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/fox-gieg.com\/tutorials\/2013\/image-sequence-to-movie\/","title":{"rendered":"Image Sequence to Movie"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Using the free utility <a href=\"http:\/\/www.squared5.com\/\">MPEG Streamclip<\/a>, you can turn a sequence of image files into a Quicktime movie without any other software:<\/p>\n<p><b>Step 1.<\/b> Go to <b>Files<\/b> \/ <b>Open Files<\/b>.<br \/>\n<img src=\"http:\/\/www.fox-gieg.com\/tutorials\/tut-images\/mpstut01.png\" border=1 vspace=5\/><\/p>\n<p><b>Step 2.<\/b> From the drop-down menu, choose <b>All Files<\/b>.<br \/>\n<img src=\"http:\/\/www.fox-gieg.com\/tutorials\/tut-images\/mpstut02.png\" border=1 vspace=5\/><\/p>\n<p><b>Step 3.<\/b> Select an image sequence and click <b>Open<\/b>. (Many image formats are supported; I recommend PNG.)<br \/>\n<img src=\"http:\/\/www.fox-gieg.com\/tutorials\/tut-images\/mpstut03.png\" border=1 vspace=5\/><\/p>\n<p><b>Step 4.<\/b> You may get a confusing message saying &#8220;File open error: unsupported file type.&#8221; Just click <b>Open Anyway<\/b>.<br \/>\n<img src=\"http:\/\/www.fox-gieg.com\/tutorials\/tut-images\/mpstut04.png\" border=1 vspace=5\/><\/p>\n<p><b>Step 5.<\/b> At this point you should be able to see your image sequence in the viewer window.<br \/>\n<img src=\"http:\/\/www.fox-gieg.com\/tutorials\/tut-images\/mpstut05.png\" border=1 vspace=5\/><\/p>\n<p><b>Step 6.<\/b> Now choose <b>File<\/b> \/ <b>Save As<\/b>.<br \/>\n<img src=\"http:\/\/www.fox-gieg.com\/tutorials\/tut-images\/mpstut06.png\" border=1 vspace=5\/><\/p>\n<p><b>Step 7.<\/b> Leave the drop-down menu set to <b>MOV<\/b>, a Quicktime movie file, and click <b>Save<\/b>.
