Safe Mode still exists in Windows 8, but it&#8217;s <i>disabled<\/i> by default. To enable it:<\/p>\n<p><b>Step 1.<\/b> Run a Command Prompt as Administrator.<\/p>\n<p><b>Step 2.<\/b>Type:<\/p>\n<pre>bcdedit \/set {default} bootmenupolicy legacy<\/pre>\n<p>That&#8217;s it!
